Mount Pleasant is one of the most diverse communities in the city. The area - stretching from Cambie to Clark Drive and from Great Northern Way and 2nd, to 16th and Kingsway - is an eclectic mix of new and old homes, industry, educational facilities, and artist live/work studios.
The ever changing Mount Pleasant neighborhood is known to some as Vancouver's best. Containing beautiful heritage houses on treelined avenues, mixed in with stunning new contemporary condos, this area offers bits and pieces for all. With the new Cambie village to the west, amenities on Broadway, boutiques, and trendsetting establishments of Main street you won't ever be bored here. Mount Pleasant stretches from Cambie Street to Clark Drive and from Great Northern Way and 2nd, to 16th and Kingsway. Although classified as Mount Pleasant, this area tends to be referred to as "SOMA".
